Robbie Williams ha annunciato che una nuova edizione deluxe del suo album solista di debutto, "Life Thru A Lens", sarà pubblicata il 2 dicembre per celebrarne il 25° anniversario.
L’edizione speciale dell’album in 4 CD, in uscita per UMC/Island Records, conterrà il disco originale e le hit "Angels", "Let Me Entertain You", "Old Before I Die", "Lazy Days" e 'South Of The Border' – oltre a bonus track e B-side.
La nuova edizione conterrà anche demo inediti, registrazioni di prove e rari remix, oltre all’audio del concerto completo registrato al The Forum di Londra nel giugno 1998, pubblicato a novembre dello stesso anno come "Live In Your Living Room" su VHS e VCD ma mai ripubblicato.
"Life Thru A Lens" è stato originariamente pubblicato nel settembre 1997 rimanendo per due settimane al numero 1 della classifica degli album del Regno Unito e 92 settimane nella Top 40, vendendo 1 milione di copie solo in UK. L'edizione deluxe sarà disponibile in un cofanetto da 4 CD, in vinile e download digitale, preordinabili QUI. Il mese scorso Robbie ha conquistato la posizione numero 1 in classifica nel Regno Unito con il suo quattordicesimo album "XXV" diventando il cantante solista con il maggior numero di album al numero 1 della classifica nel Regno Unito.
